I love this place, because it's off the hook! I've been coming here for about six years now when I'm in the area I live in Orange County and I'm currently stationed in San Francisco. This place is so good. I will drive from San Francisco to here. Just get a slice of the deliciousness they serve up.

I'm torn. Everything is very "four-star" about this place. The Garret reminds me of old-school Pizza Hut, this one being cavernous, dark, divey, and woody, with a bar area. All the workers were pleasant and attentive, which is why I am not giving it three stars. The food was not bad. We started with garlic fries, getting a decent amount of hot fries covered in a creamy diced garlic for $5. The build-your-own pizza wasn't cheap, but the medium seemed big. The pizza seemed flavorless, though we think the garlic fries had something to do with that. With a little parmesan and red pepper flake, I enjoyed it. I loved the crispy but doughy crust. The leftover pizza was better than any other leftover pizza. No self-service sodas, but refills are free. The problem is that we went at 5:30 on a Saturday, and it was full of kids. That makes it great for families, but not for people who aren't used to eating while kids scream talk at the top of their lungs. These unnecessarily loud kids all seemed to have Raiders fans for Dads so I couldn't really go up there and ask them to leash their kids or give them peanut butter to keep them from barking a while. If you think I'm being an old man, other reviewers agreed: "noisy kids" (Michael R); "a little too noisy to have a quiet conversation" (Rakesh B); "good for holding large gatherings but can be noisy." (Ed H); "ridiculously loud everywhere that the noise becomes UNTOLERABLE" (Yvette R); "arcade makes people feel they can let kids run free." (Anonymous); "Expect it to be loud with kids running around." (Lorraine C); "a lot of kids during the dinner rush." (Barney T); "People think it's Chuck E Cheese and let their kids literally run wild through this place...kids squealing and running through the table." (Jon C). "A ton of kids." (Killer Kitty). "The only downside of this place are the unattended whiny little snot-nosed kids that run around high on caffeine." (Patrick J) I loved the atmosphere, service, and food, but I would only return super late at night or while kids are in school or once I lose my hearing.

Ordered the Golden Greek Pizza with sausage, feta cheese, and peppercinis, and it was delicious. The pizza had the flavor of cooking wine, and I always enjoy that. The Curly Fries and the Mozzarella Sticks were crispy and flavorful as well. The cheese in the mozzarella sticks had the right amount of stretch, and the marinara dipping sauce was also good. The service was fast and friendly, and the ambiance felt like chill sports bar/restaurant.

The Garret is a local chain that has a dive bar atmosphere. Although looks can be deceiving because the food was very good. I was pretty pleased with my Philly cheesesteak. I liked that the staff can make modifications without sacrificing flavor. I have to watch my carb intake and they were able to modify my order. I got my Philly cheesesteak lettuce wrapped with a salad on the side instead of fries. It is a great place for a coworker outing since you pay at the cashier and do not have to split the bill.

The Garrett is a Campbell landmark at this point. Always consistently good food from pizzas, wings, and sandwiches. They also have a nice rotation of craft beer on tap (Barebottle, Henhouse, Original Pattern) and a go-to spot for Russian River Pliny the Elder. Workers are friendly. Highly recommend to check out this restaurant.

It's a bar/restaurant that can accommodate large groups and I've never had an issue with parking. Been here several times and my go to was the Reuben sandwich. Unfortunately, they've condensed the menu, and the Reuben sandwich is no longer an option . Order food, get a buzzer and when the buzzer goes off go pick up food. The person who took my order was friendly and informed me of the reduction in menu, but tried to make it a positive thing by saying quality over quantity. Turkey Avo sandwich was fresh with a good meat to bread ratio. Though the pizza looked way more decadent and they have a GF option.

Overall a pretty decent place! I've been a few times since I used to work so close by. There are a lot of friendly faces here and the staff is always happy to help! Food is overall pretty good, not the most outstanding but pretty good. It's a fun place to hang out with friends and watch the game. My go-to is usually the patty melt with curly fries! I also recently tried the Asian chicken salad & chili and those were good too, I would order again. Lunch rush gets kinda crazy... would order ahead if you're planning to go during that time.

Stopped by for takeout and picked up a pizza. Large Gilroy Special Pizza: Garlic, Pepperoni, Mushroom, Italian Sausage, Fresh Green Onion, and Fresh Tomato on Creamy Garlic Sauce. The crust is nice and crispy, and the pizza toppings are so fresh! Their creamy garlic sauce is so good on this pizza. Yum!
